FollowLens Privacy Policy

FollowLens ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that analyzes the follower and following relationships of a Threads account. This policy explains what data it processes, where the data is stored, and for what purpose.

1. Data processed

Public information shown in the follower/following lists of the Threads profile you open (username, display name, profile link, profile image URL)
Analysis results (mutual / non-mutual relationships, changes vs. the previous analysis)
Extension settings

This data is read from the DOM of the Threads web page you open and is processed entirely within your browser.

2. Where data is stored

All analysis data and settings are stored only in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local). They are never synced to a remote server.

Threads session cookies / login tokens
Instagram password
Browsing history
Data from sites other than Threads
DM content or post content

4. Data sent to servers

By default no personal data is sent to any server. When you purchase or validate credits, only your license key and an anonymous report identifier (a random string) are transmitted; usernames and list contents are never sent. If you opt in to anonymous usage statistics, only anonymous events (error codes, extension version, screen views) that contain no usernames or list contents may be sent.

5. Retention and deletion

Analysis results are stored locally on your device; you can set a retention period in settings (default: unlimited, with a per-account safety cap).
You can delete a specific account's history, all history, or your settings at any time from the settings screen.
Uninstalling the extension removes the associated local data.

This extension is not provided or endorsed by Threads or Meta. Threads UI changes may temporarily break features or cause some list items to be missed, and a change in a relationship does not necessarily mean someone unfollowed you.

FollowLens(이하 “확장프로그램”)은 사용자의 Threads 팔로워·팔로잉 관계를 분석하는 Chrome 확장프로그램입니다. 본 방침은 확장프로그램이 어떤 데이터를 처리하는지, 어디에 저장하는지, 어떤 목적으로 사용하는지를 설명합니다.

1. 수집·처리하는 데이터

사용자가 연 Threads 프로필의 팔로워/팔로잉 목록에 표시된 공개 정보(사용자명, 표시 이름, 프로필 링크, 프로필 이미지 URL)
분석 결과(맞팔/비맞팔 관계, 이전 대비 변화)
확장프로그램 설정값

이 데이터는 사용자가 직접 연 Threads 웹페이지의 화면(DOM)에서 읽어들이며, 사용자의 브라우저 내부에서만 처리됩니다.

2. 데이터 저장 위치

모든 분석 데이터와 설정은 사용자 브라우저의 로컬 저장소(IndexedDB 및 chrome.storage.local)에만 저장됩니다. 원격 서버로 동기화되지 않습니다.

4. 서버 전송

기본적으로 어떤 개인 데이터도 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 크레딧 결제·검증 시에는 라이선스 키와 익명 리포트 식별자(임의 문자열)만 전송되며, 사용자명·목록 내용 등 개인정보는 전송하지 않습니다. 익명 사용 통계에 동의한 경우에 한해 사용자명·목록을 포함하지 않는 익명 이벤트(오류 코드, 확장프로그램 버전, 화면 방문 등)만 전송될 수 있습니다.

5. 데이터 보관 및 삭제

분석 결과는 사용자 기기에 로컬로 보관되며, 사용자가 설정에서 보관 기간을 지정할 수 있습니다(기본: 무제한, 계정당 안전 상한 있음).
사용자는 설정 화면에서 특정 계정 기록, 전체 기록, 설정을 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.
확장프로그램을 삭제하면 관련 로컬 데이터도 함께 제거됩니다.

7. 면책

본 확장프로그램은 Threads 또는 Meta가 제공하거나 공식 보증하는 서비스가 아닙니다. Threads UI 변경으로 기능이 일시 중단되거나 일부 목록이 누락될 수 있으며, 관계 변화가 반드시 상대방의 언팔을 의미하지 않습니다.
